My husband and I travel on a major highway in Missouri and after reading and viewing the video I was convinced we needed to keep in our cars. Much to our surprise Missouri had a snow storm which halted miles of traffic from stalled automobiles, and autos not being able to drive on the snow packed 8 plus inches of snow. We had our flares in our 4 wheel drive. Although not needing because of the capacity of our truck. Thinking the dangers of many being pushed the LED ROAD FLARES, BY Towlivesmatter would of been of great help for the safety of individuals helping others in despair. If my husband was younger he would of been one of those individuals plus using the flares for safety. Please everyone reading this review take the time to look at the video. This may save your life and many others. I bought this 4 pack because of excellent reviews and best per unit price. Turns out not a bad choice, and I'm adding another 5 star review. The rotating lights mode might be the most useful during road emergencies, so I tested it with 3 eneloop batteries to see how long it actually lasts. After 10 hours, batteries were mostly dead but lights were still flashing as bright as with fresh batteries. Very impressive. Lights are very bright and should be seen even in daylight. It comes with instructions how to open the back plate to install batteries. Back plate is installed pretty tight for water proofing. Without reading the instructions I would probably have tried to pry it open using a screwdriver or something and damage the housing. In case you are wondering - there are two tabs in the 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock location to give you some leverage to pull the back plate off.

I got this for my twin granddaughters for Christmas because they'll be driving soon. I also bought a small duffle bag to put these lights, emergency kit & blanket in. I chose these lights for the safety & visibility factors. Love my granddaughters, but wouldn't trust them with fire (like flares). Would highly recommend these for anyone! Thanks Towlivesmatter

I'm very glad that I bought these for my upcoming road trip, because they are extremely bright and durable. They have strong magnets on the back to stick onto the car anywhere, and a flashlight in the middle. (You have to keep clicking until the last setting to get to the LED flashlight). It does not feel like cheap plastic whatsoever- I feel very confident that these will last me a long time. Thank you so much Towlivesmatter.

I bought these instead of road safety flares. I believe these are the "next technology" that improves on regular flares. Flares can go bad over time and they can potentially be dangerous sitting in your car in hot weather. (I believe). These LED Safety flare fit in a nice pouch and can be used over and over as long as the batteries last. You can easily replace the 3 AA batteries in them when they go bad as I watched a video on YouTube. They have multiple options of flashing to get drivers/peoples attention and are very visible. For the price, I would recommend them to anyone and are very pleased with the product! Certainly better than nothing on a dark road where you have a potential of someone slamming into your vehicle when your trying to fix a flat or something else!

These are so cool! Saw a friend had them and immediately bought several sets for all my cars/trucks and sent them to the kids for gifts. Extremely bright, many different flash sequences and a magnet to mount on your truck or bumper. The newer aluminum and/or plastic body styles will not hold the magnet so, place on top of your vehicle. Good to have in your roadside emergency kit.

Multiple settings for the flare flash patterns. These are very bright! The flashlight in the center of each is very handy. I have these as gifts to my kids for their cars and they've all been very happy with them.

All 4 worked once batteries were installed. Simple to use. Some mentioned magnet not strong enough but they attached to my Mazda just fine, except for a couple of small panels which I presume are not made of metal. So make sure you try in several places. I carry flares in my emergency kit, but that is buried in the SUV trunk. Nice to have something small and safe to carry in the passenger compartment for easy access.

I live in a different community from where I work in rural North Central Montana and commute back and forth on the average of almost 500 miles per month, 12 months per year and in ALL kinds of weather conditions. If I were to have a mechanical problem on the isolated road(s) I drive (even cell service not universally present) I feel comfortable that these lights would alert others to my location.

Although not shipped with the batteries, if you are good with a screwdriver there are no issues putting the batteries in. The units are bright and have multiple modes. We have not had to use they in real life yet, but I am confident they will do the job when needed.

On a dark night when you have an automobile malfunction which takes you to the side of the road, these flares will light up the night at your vehicle. If you find yourself inspecting or repairing the car these flares will alert oncoming traffic that you are ahead of them. I bought these for myself and a friend they are extremely bright and can be seen from a distance. I like the many different flashing features it has so each one can be set differential. I also like the flashlight design just in case you don't have one.

These were a gift for my nephew, and he loved them. The case is prefect, there are several light options, they are sturdy. I love the magnet or hanger feature so you can stick them right on the car or any metal surface, really. I liked them so much I ordered some for myself! Highly recommend!!

I am a traffic control flagger and there are times I have to work after the sun sets and in poorly lit areas these led road flares work great at letting drivers know that I and the work crews are still working giving me my partner and the work crews a great deal of added protection by allowing drivers to get a visual warning and to slow down. I believe all TCF should have these.

I had previously order flashing flare lights from another manufacturer for my vehicles and they worked well. I saw these and liked the price so I decided to buy them for our motorhome. When they arrived I was well pleased. They are better than the earlier purchased from another manufacturer. I would highly recommend these.

This is my second order of the 4 pack pucks. I put a pack in my truck and the other pack is in my 5th wheel. I use them all the time when hitching or unhitching the trailer in low light. I turn them on to my preferred flashing mode and attach them to my truck where they can be seen from any direction. The magnetic base allows you to place them anywhere on the body panels. (I don’t have a Ford) great price, great product.

What I like — they are highly visible. What I don’t like — once you put the batteries in, it’s a tad difficult to get the two pieces just right in order to screw the two screws into place. But I managed and I’m a 68 year old woman with no technical abilities! Cannot comment on the battery life as I’ve only had them a few days. I plan on buying two more sets as gifts for my kids.

I recently retired at the age of 72 and drove by myself to my son's house to visit. I made this 600+ mile trip with more confidence, knowing I had these signal lights in the car. My worst fear was getting strained in the dark with a flat tire. Luckily that didn't happen. I made most of the trip during the day however, I still felt more at ease with the signal lights with me.

I bought these to put in the truck of my new car just in case anything ever happens while driving. I figured that this set would be good enough for any roadside accidents or mishaps, and I didn't necessarily want to get actual road flares when LEDs work just fine. They arrived and I installed all of the AAA batteries inside each of them, which was very simple and easy to do. I tested each one for the various blinking/light Moses and they all worked great. Got these after my car broke down due to a failed alternator. I had LED flares buried somewhere in the trunk, but couldn't find them. Got these and they appear even better than the older flares. I like the idea of the magnet. Seems to hold good enough as long as you aren't in motion.

I bought these after a friend pulled a trick on me. He used 2 lights on top and 1 above each headlight, parked in my dark driveway and lit them up. I was sure it was a cop car. I knew from this they'd be great if I ever had to pull onto the shoulder of the road. Hopefully I'll never use them but with the leak-free premium batteries they'll be ready. Unless I want to scare so neighbors.

These are really great road flares, very bright and visible, several settings to choose from. I bought 2 sets and gave everyone in the family with a car one of them. I am so pleased with my purchase. The seller is a Tow truck operator and even sent me a hand written thank you note!!

I bought these for my husband’s truck, since he frequently drives in the mountains in the winter. He often stops to help others who are stuck in the snow, and he is ecstatic that he has these lights to help signal other drivers to stay clear. I mean, ecstatic. He says how great they are, how bright they are, how awesome all the different light settings are, including the flashlight setting, how cool that they stand up on their own and stick to the side of a vehicle, where he put them in his truck and how they fit perfectly with all the other safety gear, and so on. I highly recommend these lights for the “safety” guy in your life!

If you have not purchased these yet, please do. Just the other day coming home there was an accident and very difficult as was at dusk, hard to establish what was what. There were so many flashing lights on emergency vehicles, police firetrucks, not to mention at a railroad track, these are so much better to see then a bunch of lights usually right in line of vision. There are TV ads and videos you can see, they do what it states. A great value, and comes in a case. Thank you to the vendor, great price and fast shipping. Really like them.

I bought 8 of the 4-pack lights so I could give these safety lights to my family members. They are extremely bright and have multiple settings so you can choose a flashing pattern that you feel is suitable to your situation. You press a button to turn them on, then press the button again to scroll through the lighting patterns, and press one final time to turn off the unit. The last light that comes on is a white LED light - so you could use three of them on your vehicle and use the 4th light to light up your work area if you are changing a tire. Imagine changing a tire and this magnetic light is stuck to your fender, lighting your work area. The lights came in a handy zippered case that holds them perfectly, and included a set of disposable gloves to protect your hands if you are performing dirty work to get your car running again. Be prepared to have lots of AAA batteries on hand. You need 12 AAA batteries for one 4-pack of lights. The lights felt solid and well made. I am considering buying more later this year for practical holiday gifts.

I keep these in my car for a possible emergency. The bright orange carrying case provided is so convenient - outstanding! I keep it on the floor of my back seat for easy access. They are very bright. Are exactly as advertised. They suggest using Energizer Max batteries, as they won't leak. I really appreciated that advice, as I certainly want them operative in an emergency.

I got these and liked them so much I ordered more as gifts. These seal tight si batteries won't get wet under rainy outdoor conditions. I keep a set in each car. They have a goid magnet on the bottom so you can eben have one on your vehicle in dangerous conditions or when traffic won't allow you to pit them.on the ground.

I'm in absolute LUHV with these LED Road Flares! Ordered the four pack. Received in two days. Pulled the battery saver piece of plastic from each and VOILA! they were ready to use. They come in a small sack to keep 'em together and easy to find in the trunk at night. Bright beyond belief... seriously, do NOT shine the white light in anyone's eyes, it HURTS! We set them up on our unlit dead-end road at 10 pm and turned 'em on... got a 1/4+ mile down the road and could still see all four individual lights. Might be able to see them further but we hit a small hill that obscured them... got a 1/2 mile down the road and while we couldn't see the lights, we could see the flashes perfectly. Not sure why they're so many flashing modes, but hey, they're programmed for it and each LED Road Flare executed the different modes flawlessly.

I ordered tow of these, one for my wife and one for me. My wife felt so secure with these in her vehicle that she insisted I buy some for our daughter as well. Of course I forgot, but some time later I received a very nice personalized Thank You note from the president of the company, which inspired me to buy two more sets. in short, it's a great, dependable, and versatile product which was delivered two days after I ordered it. What more is there to say?

I bought these and Stonepoint brand which is suppose to be better. NOT A CHANCE! The stone point has 2 or 3 different flash sequences and these have 9 Ithink. The brightness of these are much brighter than Stonepoint which claims to have 2x the distance than these claim, not true. I would not hesitate to get these in the least bit. I plan on getting several more sets. I am going to get them for my daughter and my parents and for my other 2 vehicles. Recommend everyone looking for LED Road Flares buy these!

I haven't had to use them yet, but as soon as I got them, I took them all out and checked them out. They are heavy duty, and seem well made. I put batteries in all of them, and tested them. All four worked as advertised. i'm very happy with them. I plan to buy more for family members.

Great idea! The set I purchased seemed the better buy & rating. Even with all of today's vehicle devices, these flashers will help EMT & police to see/find you if you're off road. Put on roof with magnet base. We "more senior" folks remember SOS which is built in. Our military protectors will see & recognize to help! If lost camping or hiking, air search can find you. Put on mailbox by road for emergency or just help guests find your home. Use when walking to be seen. These are great with many helpful uses. Money well spent!

There must be 20 different brands of these road safety flashers, but after looking hard at all the options, I'm glad I chose these. They are well made and function quite well. While I haven't had to use them for their intended purpose, I did take them out at night to check out their brightness and different flashing options. I'm happy with them and their quality means I'm confident with them in the truck.

I received these today. The batteries were easy to install. I thought one was defective. I had one battery that was bad. These seem to be quality lights. These will go in my emergency travel bag.

These were purchased for me by my wife as a Christmas gift (on this account), knowing that (a) as an EMT I often am called upon to stop at roadside emergencies and (b) as a person who believes in preparedness it is easy to see how these would have a myriad of uses. Both the customer service and the product themselves are top notch and well worthy of being reviewed and mentioned here. The first lot she had purchased came in a bag that had a broken zipper. Upon contacting Towlivesmatter support she was then sent a replacement and was told to keep the originals as well. We were then contacted by Towlivesmatter to apologize for the error and were sent a new bag and an additional light. As if that were not enough, we then were sent a card, handwritten by the owner, thanking us for our business and inviting us to contact them should there be any further problems. Needless to say, especially with it being the Christmas season and very busy, we were touched. The products themselves are top notch. The batteries are easy to install and replace, and the construction of the devices themselves will easily stand up to wear and tear and be able to be used in a myriad of ways. The choice of color for the main LED illumination, red, is not only good as an indicator of an emergency, but also as a light source at night, as red light does not interfere with normal night vision as full white light does. The inclusion of a set of LEDs that can be used as a flashlight is also an excellent choice. Finally, the inclusion of both a hook and a magnet ensures maximum usability of the lights themselves in various situations, as well as the fact that, at least for me, the lights fit comfortably in my hand, and so could be used as a source of illumination with the steady red light setting. All in all, a tremendously good product, and a most excellent experience with this company. I would recommend both them AND their product to anyone without hesitation.

I did a fair deal of research before selecting these flairs. I didn't want cheap "included" batteries , I didn't need a Phillip's head screw driver...I needed a quality flair that'll work as advertised when I need it. Easily installed my own (superior) batteries in 8 flairs within in minutes. (Purchased 2 packs of four flairs.) Tested each one and they worked flawlessly. Each unique setting worked and was very bright and clear. Obviously I haven't put them to the true test, but I have confidence they'll perform when needed. I'm ordering more soon. I can see several applications where they'd come in handy. :)

Ordered these as gifts. Gave one to my son and daughter-in-law who are on the road a lot with their RV. The lights are bright and I think could be a life saver. Gave the other set to my daughter as she goes to work every day in the dark. I feel better knowing if she breaks down and gets stranded until help arrives she is safer. The third set I still have and may keep. Which means I will have to get more for other family members. The seller of this product is very much on top of this product and follows through with a personally written “thank you”. Much appreciated. Will buy again and recommend it highly.

Worth every penny. I sat on an interstate onramp with a blown tire for roughly 4 hours and these things did their job the whole time without killing the batteries. I’d absolutely recommend this product NOTE: make sure you have enough AA batteries as they don’t come with the lights. I missed that bit on the product description but that’s my fault.

After all the fires and mayhem that have hit California in recent years, my family decided to put together emergency kits for our homes and automobiles. Every car is now equipped with a 4 pack of Towlivesmatter Road Flares. It was an easy and reasonably priced way to start our safety plans. I will also add that one of the flares was defective and the Towlivesmatter folks sent me two flares to replace the one. They were wonderful to deal with as well. We are quite happy with our choice.

Super bright...as you install batteries, you cycle thru all the variations. The last is the bright white lights, like a flashlight. I recommend that you avert your eyes when you get to that cycle. It'll blind you! Hope that I never need them, but good to know that I have them, just in case. Been giving them as gifts, all have been very appreciative!

I got these to put in the “bug out kit” I put together for my daughter, as we live in California - land of if it ain’t one natural disaster it’s another. I do love it here but I feel it’s foolhardy to be unprepared to evacuate quickly. Anyhow I had bought a different brand of emergency flashers when I was putting together some things two years ago. While those were certainly serviceable my husband and I couldn’t believe these flashers!! Wow! They had so many different red flashing light patterns I felt like it was a fireworks display. And it also has a pure white flashlight option and a hook to hang it such that it can illuminate any under the hood investigation and/or repairs. Even though my husband and I still have our first sets, we decided that we should each take two from a new set because they have so many capabilities. Each flasher takes three AAA batteries that are not included but you can’t expect them to be at this great price. Love them.

Since Road Side Flares are pretty much a thing of the past and illegal in some states, due to FIRE concerns. This is the next best thing. They come in a Four Pack, so along with your warning Triangles you should be carrying, these Hi Intensity Flashing Light are an added safety measure if you become BROKE down on the Hiway. Can't Miss them at night. An excellent product and very well priced.

These LED Road Flares seem to be available from a lot of different web sites and they all look the same to me but the prices varied a LOT from one web site to another. When I received them I was not disappointed. They look well made and function perfectly. And this website had them for the best price by far. (when you figure the per unit price) I ordered 3 sets and maybe I should have ordered more. By the time I put them in my vehicles, my wife's and kids vehicles and gave a couple to friends, I almost ran out! every car should have several in the glove box!

These are great emergency LED lights and should be in every vehicle in America! They are well made and with the various selections of light display modes you can find one to get maximum attention like the one that appears to go in a circular cycle or pick on that flashes at longer intervals to give more battery life. I have bought at least 25 of these for our family from various vendors over the last 5 years and they are worth their weight in gold. Get some!!

These work great recently driving in penn on route 380 in the Pocno mountains it was on the early evening and about a 1/2 mile ahead I thought was seeing things, and as I was getting nearer a car was on the side and having a tire changed, the drive had just two of these lights on the road but it did make it easy to spot. I keep mine in the car and ready to use they are great.

These are great lights! Work better than described actually! Was so pleased with the first set I ordered another. Update 8.17.18 I used zip ties and placed two of these on the back of my 14' Hobie fishing kayak as it sticks out the bed of my truck quite a ways. At a top light a State Trooper stated he thinks they are great and much better than just a simple red flag or shop towel he sees so often. I did not remove them while using the kayak and one took on a bit of water, but after I drained it and dried it out a couple of days it worked fine. I inquired from Garage Monkey (seller) if they had waterproof ones and was advised these should do just fine. I explained one got a bit wet but works fine and I was going to apply some silicone sealant around the screws and the magnet area to test them again. Rod, the owner advised me he has sent two free replacements at no charge!!! Amazing and Outstanding customer service that is far above what anyone would expect!

These safety flares are great! I was a bit sceptical but wanted to try them. The have exceeded my expectations. The produce a bright highly visible lighting patterns for night time highway breakdowns especially changing a flat out on a dark Interstate highway. I tried them out the other night in the driveway. I placed 2 on the back roof of my minivan wirh the magnitic mount, one on each side with a diffrent flash pattern on each one. Wow that will get your attention. Place the 3rd one on the pavement back behind the vehicle and it's an attention getter for oncoming traffic. Along with the vehicle emergency flasher they set up a good safety zone. Not sure how effective during daylight, but they are a must at night. I plan to but 3 in each of my vehicles and a couple in my fishing boat for emergencies.

These things are just so cool and are so much better than traditional road flares, or even the newer LED emergency sticks. These flashers have 8-9 different settings, some of which are more subtle and extend battery life and others which are damn-near impossible to miss because they're so bright and because of their extreme flashing patterns. The built-in flashlights are also really cool and the magnet base is actually really, really strong. I bought a set of these for myself, as well as a second set for my fiancee. Now I'm thinking of picking up maybe two more sets just because I like them so much. Although they're designed for automotive use I could see these being pretty useful around a home in the event of an extended power outage, by lighting up hallways and other objects inside the house which might otherwise be tripped on while walking in the dark without a flashlight in-hand.
